A lychee under ultraviolet transmitted light. The fruit has a structure like veins and bubbles, which has a fascinating biological feel. Somwhere between a landscape of flowing rivers and what I imagine a cross section of flesh might look like. Plus, it was one of the tastiest subjects I’ve photographed.
